Eric Reyes was an exceptional young man on the cusp of graduating from Jesse Bethel High school. At 18 years old, he maintained a 4.0 Grade point average and earned a Superintendents Honor Roll award all while employed at Kohls Department store. He was an amazing young man looking forward to attending college and succeeding in life. He was a mentor and leader among his peers.
On February 6, 2016 Eric and his cousin were in his car at intersection in Vallejo, he became the city’s second homicide Victim of the year.
Though his life was cut short, his heart lives on. Eric’s passion was to help others succeed in their education and strive for better future, and that is the core philosophy of the foundation.
